Karen E. Silverman is the managing partner of Latham’s San Francisco office and a member of its global antitrust and competition practice. She handles antitrust representations of all types, including complex transactions, governmental and private enforcement matters, strategic mergers and litigation and provides antitrust counselling to a range of clients. Before joining Latham, Silverman worked in the US Department of Justice’s antitrust division as special assistant to the assistant attorney general and in the foreign commerce section. A writer and lecturer, she has been recognised as one of California’s top antitrust litigators. She leads Latham’s anti-human trafficking pro bono work.
