Female Genital Mutilation Program Coordinator, No Peace Without Justice
Alvilda Jablonko is the Female Genital Mutilation Program Coordinator at No Peace Without Justice. Since joining NPWJ in 2006, Alvilda Jablonko has worked closely with national partners, principally in West Africa and the Horn of Africa, on initiatives aimed at the enactment of effective legislation banning FGM.
Starting in 2010, the Program has focused on the International Campaign for a United Nations General Assembly Resolution banning FGM worldwide.
A graduate of Columbia University and the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, she has previously worked at the Open Society Institute, the United Nations Mission in Kosovo and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe.
