WHY ATTEND TRUST WOMEN?

BE PART OF THE SOLUTION
Drive innovative solutions to empower women around the world through concrete initiatives and strategic partnerships. Trust Women offers all delegates the opportunity to participate in special "action groups" to tackle specific issues which disenfranchise women and limit their potential. During the action groups, leading lawyers and business leaders offer expertise and practical advice to women's rights organisations to make real commitments.

CAREER PROGRESSION
Claim Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points for attending Trust Women.

"I have attended many conferences in my
22-year career, but this is the first time I see people
working together to bring real change, not just talking.
Trust Women has had a huge impact on my
personal and professional life."

Monira Rahman, award-winning human rights activist and CEO of the Acid Survivors Foundation
COMMIT TO ACTION
In 2013, 32 actions were taken in the fields of slavery, rehabilitation of survivors, forced sterilization and gender-based violence.

Following our inaugural Trust Women Conference in 2012, Thomson Reuters Foundation CEO Monique Villa and New
York County District Attorney Cyrus R. Vance, Jr. launched a financial working group to fight human trafficking. In December 2013, the group issued international guidance aimed at helping the wider financial industry to identify and report irregularities in transactions that might be linked to human trafficking activity.
